Keep an eye out for Jared Sims. The youngster, 17, has been given his chance in the Plymouth Argyle first team. His opportunity has developed on the back of Argyle’s well documented problems.
His latest appearance was in tonight 2-1 win over Truro City at Home Park. After the win against against Sims’ home town club, Reid was full of praise for the forward. He told the official Plymouth website:
‘Sims, when he came on was different class again; he handles a football [well].
‘What I like about him is he gets in good positions to receive [the ball]. He has got a natural football brain, and gets into areas which make him difficult to pick up.’
Hopefully in Plymouth’s dark times, some light can be restored by Sims and his fellow youngsters at Argyle.
